Tarunpreet Singh Virk, PhD

Dr. Virk is currently working as a Scientist in Canada. With vast research expertise ranging from medicinal chemistry to materials chemistry of pi-conjugated macrocyclic materials (Organic semiconductors, free radical materials and anti-aromatic macrocycles) and polymers having applications in organic electronics e.g. OFETs, OPVs, OLEDs, Organic Radical Batteries (ORB) and magnetic materials etc, I offer all round consultation of any chemistry related tasks ranging from custom synthesis, purifications and isolations, scientific support, business ideas, business set-up. Interests includes development of drug discovery and drug delivery materials, anti-cancer and anti-malarial materials. Dr. Virk has earlier served as a Team Lead at Toronto Research Chemicals, Canada as well as has completed various postdoctoral stints from University of Ottawa, Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson University), and IISER Pune. Dr. Virk possesses around a dozen of publications in international journals with IF ranging from 3-30 and has received various awards and fundings during research tenure.
